ABOUT THE ARTISTS

JK & The Contraband presents Alternative Jazz: a ‘90s Grunge Band Revue.

Led by John Krasula on guitar (JK), the Contraband's original music is a fresh stylistic fusion of Herbie Hancock's Headhunters to the NOLA grooves of The Funky Meters, and always with some rock bite and growl.

In this vibey throwback session, the band puts their heady-yet-visceral spin on songs from alt-rock icons like Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Sound Garden, Stone Temple Pilots and Queens of the Stone Age. Featuring Patrick Moreno on keys, Greg Zabel on bass and Cameron Gholami on drums.
