Orlando’s City Council has approved Balfour Beatty Construction as the construction manager for the pre-construction phase of the Dr. P. Phillips Orlando Performing Arts Center. The contract is projected at about $1.5 million and will continue through next summer. The performing arts center center’s design-development phase is winding down. Once design documents are approved, the project’s staff, designers and consultants will develop a construction plan.
