DPAC Chooses Visual-Art Adviser

Here's some good news from the Dr. P. Phillips Orlando Performing Arts Center project, which has been struggling with delays due to the economy but plans to break ground sometime next spring: DPAC has named BOBOSART, the art-consulting firm headed by Michael Lehman and Victoria Cerrone, as the art consultant for the building.

Lehman is active and vocal on Orange County's public art review board, and his firm has helped choose the art for several downtown buildings, including CNL Center II, 101 Eola and the Vue. It's good to see attention paid to the visual-art end of things at the performing arts center project.

"Public art has an essential role to play," Lehman said. "We're happy to be here."
