Citrus Club to Participate in ClubCorp Charity Classic: Celebrating a Legacy Public Invited to Attend Citrus Club Event

ORLANDO, FL September 26, 2008 — Citrus Club, a ClubCorp property, announced today, it will participate in the 2008 ClubCorp Charity Classic: Celebrating a Legacy, the world’s largest one-day golf and dining event Sept. 26, 2008.

Citrus Club cordially invites the public to attend the 2nd Annual Charity Classic benefiting the MDA – Augie’s Quest, Employee Partners Care Foundation and the Dr. P. Phillips Orlando Performing Arts Center. The evening will include a 7-course dinner prepared by our outstanding Executive Chef, J.R. Thomas and wine to paired perfectly with each course. Silent Auction items and raffle prizes will be won.

“We are thrilled to be able to open our clubs to the community during this exciting event,” said Steve Alden, General Manager at the Citrus Club. “It is an honor to be a part of ClubCorp’s massive celebration but even more so to be a part of something that positively will touch the lives of so many.”

More than 140 golf and country clubs and business and sports clubs around the country will again open their courses and dining rooms to an estimated 25,000 members, guests and patrons for tournaments, dining events and social extravaganzas.

All proceeds raised during the ClubCorp Charity Classic will be divided and donated to the following three charities:

• The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), specifically “Augie’s Quest,” an initiative within MDA that is an aggressive, cure-driven effort singularly focused on treatments and cures for ALS, (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig’s disease).

• ClubCorp’s Employee Partners Care Foundation (E.P.C.F.), a fund created to help ClubCorp’s employees and their families by providing financial assistance in times of crisis.

• Dr. P. Philips Orlando Performing Arts Center, Their Mission is to Provide a showcase for regional arts groups, create a great multi-cultural center for artistic excellence, develop a center of arts education for children and adults alike. To establish a destination for Floridians and tourists, build a welcoming place establishing community pride, create an environment encouraging participation and new experiences.

Last year, the ClubCorp Charity Classic raised more than $1.6 million through live auctions, dinners, golf and tennis tournaments, a variety of fitness activities, as well as an online auction. Proceeds benefited the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Augie’s Quest, The PGA Foundation, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and the E.P.C.F.

Employee Partners Care Foundation
