Hines and DPAC Culminate Summer Cultural Concert Series with Latin Inspirations

Hines, the development manager for the Dr. P. Phillips Orlando Performing Arts Center, is helping kids in the Central Florida area start the school year off on a positive note through the power of music. On Friday, August 28, they will culminate their Summer Cultural Concert Series, featuring performances from local Latin inspirational music ensembles. The concert will take place in the Renaissance Senior Center at Curry Ford Community Park.

The local Latin Gospel Core, featuring Jill Colindres Recio and Saxophonist Edeimer Johnson will be performing along with local Christian recording artist, Nahomy Santana, Éttienne Montalvo and Aqui Canta Puerto Rico.

Orange County Commissioner Mildred Fernandez (District 3) and City of Orlando Commissioner Tony Ortiz (District 2) will bring greetings.

Admission is free with the donation of a new school supply item. Collected supplies will be presented to a local non-profit organization to help students in need.
