Calling All Student Artists!

Example 1

Example 2

In preparation for the 2010 groundbreaking, a construction fence will be erected around the footprint of the site next spring and will remain for the duration of construction.

The performing arts center invites Central Florida students to create an artistic perspective of their own performing arts experiences to adorn the fence. The goal is to transform a blank chain link fence into a brilliant, colorful display of our community’s youthful arts and cultural interpretations, based on the theme, "Celebrating Each Other Through the Performing Arts."

The fence design project reflects the performing arts center’s mission to "provide a multi-cultural campus for arts education that promotes community pride."

The performing arts center is in search of student artists. Please encourage your children or students to send high-resolution electronic photos of drawings, paintings, collages or sculptures that reflect their artistic interpretation of the performing arts. Submissions should be forwarded to info@orlandopac.org by December 31, 2009 and include the student’s name, contact information and school name.

For further information, please contact Alexis Jackson or LaVon Bracy at (407) 839-0119.
