The Academy of St Martin in the Fields is recognized for fresh, brilliant interpretations of the world’s greatest orchestral music. Formed by Sir Neville Mariner in 1958 from a group of London’s leading musicians, the Academy has become one of the most respected orchestral ensembles in the world. Joshua Bell, Music Director and Grammy award-winning violinist, has performed with virtually every major orchestra in the world and is one of the most celebrated artists of his era.
