ABOUT THE ARTISTS

TWYN creates a sound that is both vintage and modern. The experimental duo stretches across indie-electronica, breakbeat, hip-hop, and funk, playing songs that provide a foundation for them to improvise and experiment in the moment. Based in Miami, keyboardist Jason Matthews and drummer/singer Aaron Glueckauf have worked together for over 7 years producing and performing for their own projects (Electric Kif, The Politix and Lemon City Trio) while touring internationally with Cuban songstress Danay Suarez and prodigy guitarist Matt Schofield.

Throughout their time as session players and writers, they have developed a rhythm and a production style that is not only relevant, but also cutting-edge and collaborative. By challenging the boundaries between structured songwriting and open instrumental improvisation, they have curated a style that is constantly in motion and consciously sculpted to the energy of their audience during each performance.
