ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Get ready for diva perfection—times two. Piano virtuoso and jazz vocalist Carol Stein returns after last year’s sold-out debut. Now, she’s joined by Jaimie Roberts, a long-time collaborator, vocalist, comedienne and cabaret artist. Since first meeting as performers at the world-famous Diamond Horseshoe Revue at Walt Disney World, Carol and Jaimie have earned celebrated acclaim as legendary performers in Central Florida.

With an extensive background as a vocalist, comedienne, dancer and voiceover artist, Jaimie has graced stages in the USA, Canada, Japan, and the Caribbean, delivering unforgettable performances across a wide range of genres and settings. She has performed at prestigious venues such as Birdland in New York City, Harrah’s Casino in New Orleans, Cannery Casino in Las Vegas and the iconic Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. She has headlined alongside legendary acts like Bobby Vinton and Ricky Skaggs.

In addition to a thriving solo career, Jaimie has worked as an equity vocalist, comedienne and dancer at Walt Disney World, as well as serving as the opening act for celebrated stars such as Shirley MacLaine, Vince Gill and The Commodores. As a vocalist, her career includes performing as the front singer with the prestigious Tommy Dorsey Orchestra and headlining at the renowned Sun Valley Jazz and Music Festival. Jaimie has shared the stage with some of the brightest stars in entertainment, including Neil Patrick Harris, Julie Andrews, Chita Rivera, Rita Moreno, Robby Benson and has also performed as a backup singer for Rosemary Clooney and Carol Lawrence.

Carol began her piano studies at the age of four. She spent many years traveling and living abroad in Europe and Asia, with home bases in Switzerland and Hong Kong. Carol returned to the USA to perform at Walt Disney World, where she has been performing in various shows on Disney property since 1990. She was the house musician with the incredibly talented improv troupe at the Comedy Warehouse at Pleasure Island for many years, the resident musician at the world-famous Rose and Crown Pub at the United Kingdom Pavilion and was the resident EPCOT Pianist at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. She continues to perform in various venues for the Disney Entertainment Company as well as around the world. Carol enjoys composing as well as spontaneous arranging of pieces during a live performance. She may take a child’s melody and turn it “inside-out” in the style of Mozart, and then into a bossa nova, and end up with a Duke Ellington swing. Carol has been the guest solo artist with the Space Coast Pops Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Richard Hayman performing her own compositions and orchestral arrangements. She was the pianist with the Jacksonville Symphony performing the works of Marvin Hamlisch. Carol has also been the feature jazz artist headliner on the Avalon Jazz River Cruise in France.
