Considered the new sound of bossa nova, Daniela Soledade is bringing the spirit of Brazil back to Orlando with her new show “Amazon Soul.”

An heir to the throne of bossa nova, Daniela is highly acclaimed for her poignantly expressive vocal style and intimate aesthetic, drawing from an amalgamation of authentic bossa nova, samba, Brazilian pop and American pop. Fresh off a sold-out European tour, Daniela presents her new show “Amazon Soul.” Showcasing Daniela’s velvet-toned vocal delivery and world-conscious lyrics, the songstress and her band marry the soul of the Amazon with a Rio De Janeiro block party. Daniela effortlessly shifts between her own samba soul, Brazilian classics and contemporary interpretations, channeling the spirit of Djavan, Gil, Jobim and Sade. Joining Daniela is her band featuring Patrick Bettison on keyboards and harmonica, Joe Porter on bass, Carl Amundson on electric guitar and legendary Brazilian drummer Claudio Infante, along with longtime producer, arranger and guitarist Nate Najar.

Born and raised in Brazil, Daniela is a third-generation musician who has been singing from a young age. In fact, the tradition of bossa nova is in her DNA—her grandfather, Paulo Soledade, composed popular songs with renowned bossa nova founders Antônio Carlos Jobim, Vinicius de Moraes, Toquinho and more. In 2019, Daniela released her debut album A Moment of You, featuring songs in both English and Portuguese, followed by her album Pretty World in 2022.
