Draco Rosa
Draco Rosa
The journey of life for Draco Rosa —from teen pop star to purveyor of poetic darkness, genius Latin-crossover pop songwriter to philanthropist and entrepreneur—has had so many twists and turns it could make your head spin. The last few years’ battles and triumphs finally led Draco to make a personal spiritual climb back to his Hacienda Horizonte (his mountain estate) in Utuado, Puerto Rico, his homeland. Since then, he’s released acclaimed albums: the rock-charged Monte Sagrado, which is an homage to a deep spiritual energy found in a ceremonial park near Utuado; and the immersive spiritual listening experience with Sound Healing 1:11 that combines ambient music with mystical and atmospheric instrumental songs of the soul.
Recorded in Draco’s studio in Puerto Rico, Phantom Vox Studios, with most of the instruments and voices performed by himself, it also features majestic orchestral arrangements and the Prague Philharmonic, and a contribution from Sadhguru on one of the tracks. With a successful career, Draco Rosa has toured the world, filling prestigious venues while reaching a solid fan base. Inducted into the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2016 and recognized by the National Recording Registry Library for “Livin’ La Vida Loca” in 2022, Draco was bestowed with an honorary degree in Humanities and Business Administration from the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón (USC) in Puerto Rico. The multiple-time GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY-winning artist has received many awards and recognitions for his career as a recording artist and for his accomplishments as a composer, musician, singer, songwriter, producer, entrepreneur and philanthropist.
