ABOUT THE ARTISTS

In a cascade of triple-threat talent—piano, vocals and saxophone—Jarred Armstrong is a local jazz staple with the musical chops to prove it. The St. Pete native dishes out mesmerizing melodies and soul-drenched serenades, fusing elements of R&B/soul and jazz into his music.

Heavily influenced by soul legends like Erykah Badu and D’Angelo, Jarred started his music career at just 16, playing the National Anthem for the Tampa Bay Rays and the Atlanta Falcons. Since then, Jarred has shared the stage and opened for artists such as Lalah Hathaway, Sting, Stephanie Mills, Dr. John, Kenny Lattimore, Raheem Devaughn, Musiq Soulchild and many more. He has also made TV appearances on Studio 10 Live News broadcasts and ABC’s Wonderful World of Disney Magic Holiday Celebration. In 2022, Jarred won first place at Amateur Night at the legendary Apollo Theatre in Harlem, New York. Nowadays, you can find Jarred performing all over Orlando.
