ABOUT THE ARTISTS

The blues are alive and well with this three-time "British Blues Guitarist of the Year." Matt Schofield’s fluid playing and improvisational mastery are lined with elements of jazz, channeling the spirit of blues greats before him while offering up a sound completely his own.

With a career spanning over 30 years, Matt’s critical acclaim and influence are wide-ranging. Awarded "British Blues Guitarist of the Year" and "British Blues Album of the Year," he’s also an inductee of the British Blues Awards Hall of Fame. Matt also landed in the top ten in Guitar and Bass Magazine's "Top Ten British Blues Guitarists of All Time." With his live performances being sought-after, he tours nationally, playing everything from theaters to festivals to jazz clubs.
