ABOUT THE ARTIST
Returning to Judson’s Live, Florida native and Nashville recording artist Sean Holcomb brings soulful songwriting, heart-tingling vocals, foot-stomping guitar abilities and head-turning stage presence together in one thrillingly authentic, “fresh-vintage” country music package.
Sean’s original songs reflect his true-life experiences, including his best-known tune, “Let You Leave”, a second chance love song nominated for the American Songwriter song of the year in 2021. (The ballad landed in the top 35 out of tens of thousands of song submissions.)
Rising popularity has come as no surprise to the Orlando native’s devoted Central Florida following. Sean Holcomb was named the “Best Country Act '' in Orlando Weekly’s “Best of Orlando” in 2023. He won in 2022, 2021 and 2019 as well. Fans also voted Sean as Blake Shelton’s Ole Red Battle of the Bands Winner, beating bands from Shelton’s Home State of Oklahoma and the original Ole Red in Nashville.
Most recently, he’s opened for Rodney Atkins, Tyler Farr and Walker Hayes. He has also been supported by artists such as John Anderson, Daryle Singletary, Rhett Akins, Lucero, Kenny Chesney, Mo Pitney, The Cadillac Three, LoCash, Thomas Rhett, Drake White and many more.
Often compared to the likes of Chris Stapleton, Jamey Johnson and Travis Tritt, Holcomb brings a fresh new ‘old’ vibe to country music with his original songwriting and a distinctive sound best described as a blend of ‘vintage country,’ Americana and country-rock.
A soulful combination of grit and grace, Holcomb’s true-to-life cowboy persona is as real as it gets, drawing on his time as a former cowboy in southern Colorado. His thoughtful lyrics are laced with honest perspective from his lessons in love, loss, life, redemption and yes — sometimes splashed with the alcohol-infused energy and modest swagger of a rising star.
