ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Veronica Swift isn’t afraid to cross genres—and effortlessly embody all of them. Rooted in successful jazz origins, Veronica’s added layers of rock, soul, R&B, funk and more make her a true powerhouse vocalist. Whether she’s showing off her scatting skills or belting out a scorching rock ballad, Veronica is going to tear it up at her three-night Judson's residency.

Already crowned one of the best jazz singers of our generation, Veronica’s newest live show pays homage to her jazz and family roots (her parents are jazz singer Stephanie Nakasian and the late bebop pianist Hod O’Brien) while channeling the greats like David Bowie, Queen, Janis Joplin and Lady Gaga. Veronica first gained major international attention in 2015 when she won second place in the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz International Vocals Competition. For this upcoming tour, Veronica is backed by a full-on rock band of the best players in the world, including Brian Viglione, the drummer/co-founder of cult band Dresden Dolls.
