Performing her original songs and reinventions of some of her favorites, Carolyn now returns to our stage with her Texas-flavored prowess.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Since first performing at age 15, Carolyn has garnered wide admiration and success. She’s recorded ten albums under her own name, including four produced by famed musician Ray Benson. In 2018, Wonderland joined John Mayall’s Blues Breakers as his first and only female lead guitarist. She also joined her label, Alligator Records, as the first female guitarist in the label’s storied 50-year history. On the road her entire career, she’s played with icons from Townes Van Zandt to Levon Helm, from Buddy Guy to Hubert Sumlin, from Bob Dylan to John Mayall, all while writing her own story. More recently, Carolyn has gathered critical acclaim for her Dave Alvin-produced Tempting Fate album, released October 2021. Carolyn has received two nominations in The Blues Foundation’s 43rd Blues Music Awards for Contemporary Blues Female Artist and Song of the Year for “Fragile Peace and Certain War.”
