August 26, 2015 – ORLANDO, Fla. – The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, together with Florida Theatrical Association and Broadway Across America® announced today that Mary Ann Derleth of Orlando is the 11,000th subscriber for the 2015/2016 FAIRWINDS Broadway in Orlando season. Derleth will be recognized throughout the new season.

“When FAIRWINDS Broadway in Orlando opened the inaugural season at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts it was the highest number of subscribers in 19 years in Orlando,” said Kathy Ramsberger, president & CEO of the Dr. Phillips Center. “The excitement continues to build in the second season as the Broadway series is on its way to another record breaking season.”

Becoming a Season Subscriber is the best way to guarantee seats for the upcoming season. It is anticipated that the seating available at the time individual tickets go on sale will be limited.

Filled with Tony Award®-winning hits and remarkable family favorites, the 2015/2016 Season kicks off with Rodger’s + Hammerstein’s CINDERELLA, a lush new production that features a contemporary take on the classic tale. The holiday favorite DR. SEUSS’ HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! THE MUSICAL, a brand new production of the timeless classic THE SOUND OF MUSIC, and the six-time Tony-Award®-winning smash hit KINKY BOOTS. Rounding out the Season at the Dr. Phillips Center is the worldwide phenomenon DIRTY DANCING – THE CLASSIC STORY ON STAGE, and the remarkable true story musical hit of BEAUTIFUL – The Carole King Musical. The international sensation STOMP has also been added as a season option with two performances.

4-Show Season Ticket Packages, starting at $161.50, are on sale now and can be purchased at OrlandoBroadway.com, by calling 800.448.6322 (M – F, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.) or in person at the Florida Theatrical Association Box Office located at 100 S. Eola Drive, Suite 101 in downtown Orlando (M – F, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.).
