Featured Partners: Frontyard Festival™

From December through May, we were able to welcome guests to so many incredible events at our Frontyard Festival™, presented by AdventHealth. Here’s a look at some of the wonderful partners that made it all possible.

VyStar Credit Union
When The Beach Boys performed in May, venue sponsor VyStar Credit Union hosted 10 families who were nominated for their military service and their impact on our community here in Orlando. Each group enjoyed an all-inclusive experience—including tickets to a great show and light bites. Coming up, VyStar will also support the shows of country star Travis Tritt and '80s rock duo Air Supply.

Disney & Experience Kissimmee
Almost every Sunday night, we offered affordable entertainment in a safe, outdoor environment—supported by Disney and Experience Kissimmee. Movie nights included family-friendly classics like Toy Story and A Bug’s Life, to popular titles like Black Panther and Thor: Ragnarok, to action hits like Pirates of the Caribbean and Guardians of the Galaxy. Osceola County’s Gatorland even brought Galaxy the alligator for a quick visit. And we were one of the first U.S. locations to show Disney-Pixar’s Soul on a big screen under the Central Florida sky.

Massey Services, Inc.
We created our new Freedom Series this spring to celebrate African American artists and showcase diverse performing arts—because we’re dedicated to being a platform that represents our vision, Arts For Every Life®. Massey Services supported the series’ three shows so far: Grammy-winning gospel artist Tye Tribbett, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra Septet with Wynton Marsalis and the Bethune-Cookman University Concert Chorale.

City Beverages
The latest run of our Amp’d Series only had two shows before the pandemic hit. So City Beverages joined us as we shifted gears to put on some brand-new Amp’d Sunday brunches instead—giving local bands great exposure and the chance to headline a mainstage show. Featuring Michelob Ultra, these outdoor events included rock power couple Thomas Wynn and Hannah Harber, and garage-soul band The Sh-Booms. City Beverages also sponsored two additional events at the Frontyard: country-rock group Blackberry Smoke and comedian Preacher Lawson, who won America’s Got Talent.

Fifth Third Bank
As the sponsor of our Jazz Orchestra at Dr. Phillips Center, Fifth Third Bank was able to support some of our new Sunday brunches. With themed menus based on the music, these events included February’s Jazz for Lovers brunch, March’s Mardi Gras brunch, April’s brunch with Clint Holmes and May’s Miles & More brunch. Fifth Third Bank also supported our orchestra in our 6th & Jazz: Let Freedom Ring school series—and the Let Freedom Ring: Jazz and the Civil Rights Movement show during our MLK Celebration.
