Frontyard Festival™ Partner Spotlight: Experience Kissimmee & Tijuana Flats

Almost every Sunday evening, we offered affordable entertainment in a safe, outdoor environment—supported by Experience Kissimmee. Movie nights included family-friendly classics like Toy Story and A Bug’s Life, to popular titles like Black Panther and Thor: Ragnarok, to action hits like Pirates of the Caribbean and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Experience Kissimmee also worked with Gatorland to bring Galaxy the alligator to our Frontyard Festival™, as well the Bell Family Farm’s petting zoo, and an Old Town activation that promoted the classic car show series. Our venue was even one of the first U.S. locations to show Disney/Pixar’s Soul on the silver screen.

Each Wednesday night, Tijuana Flats and the Just in Queso Foundation sponsored Trivia & Happy Hour at our Frontyard Festival™, presented by AdventHealth. These free-to-play events were hosted by 104.1’s Ryan Holmes—voted “Best Trivia Host” in Orlando Weekly’s Best of Orlando® poll.

Both Tijuana Flats and the Just in Queso Foundation made it a priority to support organizations dedicated to helping people in times of need, hosting children and military service members.

“Tijuana Flats was honored to be a part of the weekly Trivia & Happy Hour at the Frontyard Festival™,” said Jesy Rose, community relations manager at Tijuana Flats. “The Dr. Phillips Center and the Frontyard Festival gave Tijuana Flats the opportunity to engage in a fun and interactive partnership with one of our most beloved communities.”

The event featured great drink specials on buckets of beer and seltzers, as well as premium cocktails and wine. And, of course, there were tons of food and appetizer choices. Winners were treated to Tijuana Flats swag, Flats Cash to use in-store and tickets to a future Frontyard Festival™ show, making every Wednesday night a huge hit here at the arts center.
