Student Spotlight: Anastasia Isabel Ramírez Rodríguez

A natural performer, 4-year-old Anastasia has been with our AdventHealth School of the Arts for a quarter of her life. From focusing on coordination and rhythm in 2019’s Creative Movement class—to virtually learning basic dance steps in 2020’s online class—she’s now exploring musical and vocal technique in Intro to Music.

Her mom says Anastasia’s favorite part is learning new songs—especially if they’re sung by queens and princesses from the fairytales she knows. Her favorite memory from Creative Movement? All the twirling and spinning. So it’s only fitting that her favorite musical is Frozen—which she sings and dances to, matching Elsa’s every move as close as she can.

After mastering musical theater, Anastasia hopes to learn how to play piano when she’s older. And we’re so excited that we get to help this budding artist grow into the triple-threat she’s sure to become.
