All-Local Cast Takes the Stage in Dr. Phillips Center’s Little Shop of Horrors

Beloved musical returns to Orlando, opens October 23 in Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater

Orlando, FL - Dr. Phillips Center brings one of musical theatre’s most beloved Halloween classics to life in Little Shop of Horrors, running Thursday, October 23 through November 2, 2025, in Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater.

This production is powered by an all-local cast, showcasing the depth of Central Florida's theatrical talent. Leading the way is Brandon Roberts as Seymour, a veteran of the Orlando stage for over two decades, who calls the role a dream fulfilled. Hannah McGinley Lemasters as Audrey, returning to the part after a 2022 production in Tampa and most recently seen at Dr. Phillips Center in Stranger Sings.

Christopher King will be the voice of Audrey II, bringing experience from Universal Orlando and international Motown tribute bands. As Mr. Mushnik, Alexander Mrazek returns following a season performing at Sleuths Mystery Dinner Theatre and Orlando Fringe. Making his venue debut is Tripp Karrh as the unhinged dentist, Orin, whose background in voice acting and physical comedy brings unpredictable energy to the stage.

The production's vocal firepower will feature the dynamic Urchins trio—Raven Lawrence as Crystal, Lauren Muller as Ronnette and Emily Bagnolati-Camargo as Chiffon—each with credits across Orlando’s top stages.

Rounding out the cast are two rising stars: Audrey Chang, who makes her professional debut as a swing and puppeteer following standout student performances and Jaidyn Richardson, a familiar face from Orlando Shakes and Winter Park Playhouse. Originally produced by the WPA Theatre and directed by Howard Ashman with musical staging by Edie Cowan, Little Shop of Horrors continues to thrill audiences with memorable songs like “Suddenly Seymour,” “Somewhere That’s Green” and “Feed Me (Git It).”

On Friday, October 31, the cast keeps the Halloween fun going with Flashback Fright, an ’80s dance party at Judson’s Live, the arts center’s newest live music venue. Starting at 7 p.m., guests can join the cast for retro hits and a costume-friendly celebration.

Little Shop of Horrors performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. evenings and 3 p.m. matinees. Tickets are available now and guests can save 20% with the code HALLOWEEN20 at drphillipscenter.org.
