Know Before You Go

In April of 2015, singer/songwriter/actress Sabrina Carpenter, unveiled her debut album, Eyes Wide Open. Fueled by youthful exuberance and irresistibly buoyant singles such as “Eyes Wide Open” and “We’ll Be the Stars,” the album reflected Carpenter’s life over the previous three years, during which she rose to fame playing rebellious Maya Hart on the Disney Channel hit series Girl Meets World.

The gestation period for Carpenter’s sophomore album, EVOLution, out Oct. 14, was shorter, but clearly encompassed even more growth. “I’m living in an adult world,” notes Carpenter, who’s 18 now. “I’m very lucky to do what I love, but it does come along with roller coasters of emotion. Thank goodness that artists take inspiration from emotion, because it allowed me to put all feelings and all these stories into the songs I’ve made.”

Know Before You Go

Paramore was formed in Nashville in 2003, while all three members attended junior high school. The young band’s angsty songs went against the traditional country culture of their home town. Since then, Paramore has grown up inside the brutal beast of the music industry, surviving media storms, industry sexism, and soap-opera worthy drama for nearly 15 years.

Still calling Nashville their home, the band mates spend most their days and nights sitting on the porch together laughing or crying... reminiscing, daydreaming, or trying desperately to just stay present. The band recently wrote and recorded their 5th album in Nashville, titled After Laughter, which dropped May 12th. Listen to 'Told You So' and 'Hard Times' - out everywhere now.
