UCF Celebrates the Arts is a week-long festival from April 7-14, 2017 at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts that showcases UCF’s arts through exhibits, events, and performances. In its third year, the festival will include performances by Theatre UCF and UCF Music, gallery exhibits, films, and interactive displays by students in the School of Visual Art & Design and Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy, a mini-festival themed around UCF’s Big Read, and events hosted by UCF’s partner organizations, the Orlando Repertory Theatre and Orlando Shakespeare Theater. The annual showcase is a unique event, bringing the skills, creativity, and dedication of the university’s artists to Orlando’s world-class performance venue.

The Flying Horse Big Band: The Bat Swings!, premiering arrangements of the 1960s superhero movie and TV show
