Before coming back to the Dr. Phillips Center, here’s what to expect. These protocols were established to help create an environment that makes safety a priority—with guidance from federal, state and local officials, as well as our partner, AdventHealth.
Sanitization & Cleaning
We’ll thoroughly clean and sanitize the building before you arrive for a show, event or education program—including using industry-standard electrostatic sprayers.
While you’re here, we’ll frequently clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces.
We invested in a specialized air handling unit upgrade that uses UV-sanitized filters to provide greater fresh air exchange.
Touchless hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the building. Our colleagues are required to have their temperatures checked, wash their hands frequently and wear face coverings at all times—plus, they’ve had significant health and safety training.
Our valet team will wear masks and use hand sanitizer before and after entering vehicles.
Our food & beverage team is required to wear masks and gloves.
Face coverings are required at all times—when you arrive, moving/standing/sitting throughout the building, at your seats, in restrooms and when you leave.
You can briefly take off your face covering when actively eating or drinking.
Face coverings must:
Be made with 2+ layers of breathable material.
Fully cover nose and mouth, and secure under chin.
Fit snugly against sides of face.
Be secured with ear loops or bands behind head and must stay in place without frequent readjusting.
Prohibited face coverings:
Bandana-style masks (do not fit securely around mouth or under chin).
Neck gaiters (do not fit securely around mouth or under chin).
Masks with exhalation valves/vents (do not prevent water droplets from being expelled).
Practice social distancing of 6+ feet throughout the building.
Follow signage and any floor markers—especially in areas like bars, elevators and restrooms.
Our theaters have a reduced capacity of about 30%—with space between groups.
We removed some lobby furniture to create more room.
Stay in your seat and wait for dismissal instructions from the stage and/or ushers.
Follow the designated route for social distancing—even as you leave the building and go to your vehicle.
Please be patient—exiting safely will take a little longer than usual.
Our team will help enforce social distancing and other protocols.
Security & Temperature Checks
Before you enter the building, we’ll need to do a contactless temperature check—and your temperature must be under 100.4°.
If you have symptoms of COVID-19, or simply don’t feel well, please stay home.
With our new, contactless Evolv security system, you can leave everything in your purse and/or pockets—except these prohibited items.
We encourage cashless transactions using a credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover) or Apple, Google or Samsung Pay.
When scanning tickets, our guest service colleagues will not touch your phone—so please scroll if you have multiple tickets.
Touchless hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the building.
