Health & Safety Updates

Take a look at our latest protocols.

Before coming to the Dr. Phillips Center, here’s what to expect. We've been updating our health and safety protocols based on guidance from federal, state and local officials, as well as our partner, AdventHealth. Guests with accessibility questions or who require additional assistance related to these protocols may email guestservices@drphillipscenter.org or call 407-839-0119.

Sanitization & Cleaning

  • We thoroughly clean and sanitize the building—including using industry-standard electrostatic sprayers to sanitize theater spaces.
  • We frequently clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces.
  • We invested in a specialized air handling unit upgrade that uses UV-sanitized filters to provide greater fresh air exchange.
  • Touchless hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the building.

Face Coverings

  • Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings strongly recommends that all residents—unvaccinated and vaccinated—wear masks in crowded indoor environments.
  • For Broadway in Orlando shows: masks are required inside the building—including lobby spaces, restrooms and the theater. Guests can briefly lower their face covering when they’re actively eating or drinking.

Security & Prohibited Items

  • If you have symptoms of COVID-19, or simply don’t feel well, please stay home.
  • With our new, contactless Evolv security system, you can leave everything in your purse and/or pockets—except these prohibited items.

Minimizing Contact

  • We encourage cashless transactions using a credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover) or Apple, Google or Samsung Pay.
  • When scanning tickets, our guest service colleagues will not touch your phone—so please scroll if you have multiple tickets.
  • Touchless hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the building.
