Student Spotlight: Kristina Jimenez

Performing live—that’s Kristina Jimenez’s favorite part of being involved in our AdventHealth School of the Arts.

“The arts have a healing factor like nothing else,” she said. “I love taking the audience away from reality, if only for an hour.”

Now attending Valencia College, Kristina has been a member of our performance group, The Four Counts, for two years. She’s majoring in musical theater and especially likes that she can complement her college classes with ours.

On top of production classes, Kristina loves the opportunity to meet with Broadway professionals and hear their real-life experience during our master classes.

What’s up next for her? “I’m excited about tackling dance. It’s not one of my strongest skills, but I know when I walk into class there is a support system to keep me motivated.”
