ORLANDO, Fla. (June 22, 2022) — GoPegasus continues to go beyond transportation to connect with the arts and the community. Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts today announced the leading transportation and group travel company in Florida has joined as an Official Partner through a multi-year deal. They will provide transportation services for a variety of community giveback initiatives and receive branding and marketing opportunities with the arts center.

“Advancing our vision of Arts For Every Life ® is our way of making a difference in the community, and we are thankful to partner with an organization who shares our same values and passion points,” said Kathy Ramsberger, president and CEO at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. “The community giveback initiative is important in helping us connect and share meaningful experiences with kids and people who may not have the chance to do so otherwise, and we welcome GoPegasus to this wonderful journey.”

Dr. Phillips Center has contributed more than $13.65 million in value in community support since opening in 2014. These contributions go toward many initiatives like hosting free school-day performances for students across Central Florida, offering free or discounted show tickets for students and veterans, underwriting scholarships and youth education programs, presenting free events on Seneff Arts Plaza and more.

Dr. Phillips Center also introduces regional schools to the world of musical theater through its Broadway community giveback initiative. More than 2,150 students have been treated to one-of-a-kind experiences for Disney’s Frozen (21/22 season), Aladdin (19/20 season), Hamilton (18/19 season) and The Lion King (17/18).

GoPegasus Vice President Claudia Menezes said, “It is an incredible honor for our company to partner with Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. We are among the center’s biggest admirers for what it has accomplished to put Central Florida on the global arts map. For more than 28 years, we have cared passionately about the arts community. We developed ‘Art on Wheels’ as a natural extension of our company’s commitment to our community, clients, excellence and innovation. When the arts thrive, we all thrive.”

Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, GoPegasus has over 28 years of experience servicing millions of people year-round. The organization recently rolled out Art on Wheels—a program that converts luxury coach buses into “moving canvases” showcasing the works of local artists to promote the region’s rich arts and cultural community.
