Judson’s Live to Host New Musically Themed Brunch Series

Local Trio, The Za-Boo-Zays to headline first brunch April 21, 2024

Orlando, Fla. (Mar 21, 2024) – Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts will host a special brunch experience inside Judson's Live, the art center’s newest and most intimate music room, beginning April 21, 2024. The series will combine a mouthwatering menu with top-shelf performances—from Latin to jazz, bluegrass to R&B.

Themes, artists and the curated menu, inspired by the art center’s executive chef, Jason Klingensmith, will change every event.

"We want this new brunch series to transport guests to a place where the room’s music meets its savory counterparts,” says Chef Klingensmith. “Guests will enjoy a selection of made-to-order themed dishes and specialty serving stations-- featuring flavor and fresh ingredients at every turn.”

With nearly 30 years of culinary experience, Chef Klingensmith strives to provide exceptional value to all visitors by incorporating his artistic flair while using the finest and made-from-scratch seasonal ingredients.

“We are always looking for ways to share unique experiences with our guests and this new brunch series is simply that,” says Kathy Ramsberger, president and CEO of the Dr. Phillips Center. “We are inviting guests to enjoy a fabulous meal, inside an incredible room, alongside must-see performances.”

The The Za-Boo-Zays, a Central Florida trio composed of vocalists Hannah Harber Wynn, Olivia Wynn Roche and Kaleigh Baker, will take the stage for the first themed Southern Brunch on Sunday, April 21.

The two-hour brunch includes a selection of made-to-order dishes from the chef-curated menu, plus access to our specialty serving stations that encourage guests to gather and connect.

The Southern Brunch menu will feature elevated takes on comfort-food favorites like chicken & waffles, short ribs & grits, pecan bread pudding, blueberry cobbler and more.

Alcoholic beverages and signature drinks are available for purchase.
