Teen Ambassadors

Kickstart a career in the arts industry.

This immersive program offers unique exposure to a variety of opportunities that exist beyond the stage.

Overview

Dr. Phillips Center Teen Ambassadors play a major part in our arts education programming. They lead the way through their involvement in events like performances, professional workshops, and community experiences—developing leadership, writing and communication skills along the way. They learn about non-performance entertainment industry careers, nonprofit business activities, and work to develop, implement and engage in ideas with industry leading professionals.

Our Teen Ambassadors are exceptional leaders in their schools and communities, ranging from 9th to 12th grade, and most of them serving in some type of leadership capacity in their thespian troupes and other various student organizations. They are a diverse group of technicians, creatives, and performers, all sharing a love for the performing arts.

  • Access to guest speakers, master classes, backstage tours, and meet and greets with professionals in various career tracks connected to the arts.

  • Opportunities to represent the arts center at a variety of events and earn community service hours each school year.
