Sir John Rutter’s 80th Birthday with Bach Festival Choir, Vienna Philharmonic’s Orlando Debut and Florida Premiere of Yannick Nézet-Séguin Highlight World-Class Lineup

Orlando, FL — Dr. Phillips Center's 25/26 Great Orchestra Series supported by Experience Kissimmee, returns with its most prestigious lineup yet, welcoming three of the world’s finest orchestras to the near-perfect acoustics of Steinmetz Hall.

Following three consecutive sold-out seasons, the series continues to raise the bar by presenting the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with Bach Festival Choir, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and—making its highly anticipated Orlando debut—the Vienna Philharmonic.

Subscriptions are now on sale for the three-concert series.

The season begins January 15, 2026, with a rare U.S. appearance by Sir John Rutter, who will lead the Royal Philharmonic and the Bach Festival Choir in a special performance of his Magnificat, honoring his 80th birthday.

On February 20, 2026, The Philadelphia Orchestra takes the stage under the direction of GRAMMY® Award winner Yannick Nézet-Séguin. In his Florida conducting debut, Nézet-Séguin brings fresh energy as the orchestra celebrates its 125th anniversary.

The series culminates in a landmark moment for Orlando as the legendary Vienna Philharmonic makes its debut in Steinmetz Hall with two distinct programs, led by renowned conductor Andris Nelsons, on March 11 and 12, 2026.

New this year, subscribers are invited to enjoy Concert Comments—pre-show talks held one hour before each performance, offering exclusive insights from conductors and artistic leaders.

Subscriptions include three concerts, with the option to add the second Vienna Philharmonic performance. New subscriptions are currently on sale.
