Summer Camps & Programs
When school’s out, our School of the Arts is in full swing.
Spend some time discovering new passions or sharpening skills over summer break. Our Dr. Phillips Center theater camps are the perfect place for students to grow as artists—and make some pretty great memories, too.
Improv Intensive with Sak Comedy Lab
Ages 10–18 | June 29 – July 2

Our annual Improv Intensive will provide an opportunity to delve into comedy, stand up, monologue, and improv while working through various acting and improvisational methods with expert Improvisors. Learn how to share your creativity with a scene partner and how to incorporate the energy of the audience. This three day intensive will help you grow in skill, craft, and artistry as an actor. Friends and family will be able to see your performance in a final showcase on a professional stage.
Drop-Off: Students will be assigned a drop-off time between 8–9 a.m.
Camp: 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Pickup: Students will be assigned a pickup time between 4–5 p.m.
Showcase: July 2 | Time: 6 p.m. & 7:15 p.m.
Tuition: $385 for pre-registration | $415 starting April 20
Capacity: 75 students

Musical Theatre: Best of Broadway
Ages 6–10 | July 6–10
Calling all singers, dancers and actors! Join us as we learn how to sing, act and dance to the best songs from your favorite Broadway classics and new works! Our Broadway-themed musical theater week will help you develop this story by expanding your vocal technique, character development, dance and stage presence. Friends and family will be able to see your performance in the final showcase on a professional stage.
Drop-Off: Students will be assigned a drop-off time between 8–9 a.m.

Pickup: Students will be assigned a pickup time between 3–4 p.m.
Showcase: July 10 | between 10 a.m.–3 p.m.

MUSICAL THEATRE: PIXAR PALS
Ages 6–10 | July 27–31
Get ready to make new friends with Pixar Pals! Join us for an unforgettable musical theatre week as we bring the heart, humor, and imagination of Pixar stories to life. Through theatrical performance—combining songs, spoken dialogue, acting, and dance—campers will tell a fun and heartfelt story inspired by favorite films like Monsters, Inc., Coco, Turning Red, Toy Story, and more. Along the way, performers will explore themes of friendship, courage, and being true to yourself. Friends and family are invited to celebrate the magic during a final showcase, performed on a professional stage.

Join us for an unforgettable week as we bring the magic of musical theatre to life through beloved ocean-inspired stories like The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, Moana, and more. Through theatrical performance—combining songs, spoken dialogue, acting, and dance—campers will tell a thrilling undersea story while journeying through their favorite Disney and animated movies. Friends and family will be invited to experience the magic during a final showcase, performed on a professional stage.

Get ready to unleash your Villain Vibes! Join us for a thrilling musical theatre week where the spotlight shines on the mischievous, mysterious, and marvelously wicked. Through theatrical performance—combining songs, spoken dialogue, acting, and dance—campers will bring a spooky and silly story to life inspired by iconic animated villains. From dramatic laughs to over-the-top schemes, performers will explore confidence, individuality, and teamwork while embracing their villainous side. Friends and family will be invited to enjoy the fun during a final showcase, performed on a professional stage.

THEATRE ARTS WEEK: A DEVISED THEATRE JOURNEY
Ages 8–18 | June 29–July 2
How can creativity take flight through collaborative storytelling? Join this journey beyond the script as we work together to create a story from the ground up. Through the use of acting, movement, poetry, and music, you will be able to use your imagination to tell a never-before-seen unique story. Friends and family will be able to see your performance in the final showcase on a professional stage.
