The Be Free Tour with Braxton Cook

Black Violin and Braxton Cook unite for an electrifying night of soaring strings, bold beats and genre-defying artistry.

For more than two decades, Grammy-nominated duo Black Violin has paired classical music with the pulse of hip-hop, putting their soaring strings, bold beats and unflinching lyrics center stage.

In The Be Free Tour, classically trained violinist Kev Marcus and violist Wil Baptiste perform music from their latest album, Full Circle. Inspired by the duo's 20-year journey, the album reflects on where they began and where they're headed next, marking both a homecoming and a rebirth. Joining them is alto saxophonist, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Braxton Cook.

Crowned a “jazz prodigy” by Fader and listed as one of the "top five jazz artists to watch” by Ebony, Braxton has commanded the jazz scene with his contemporary and post-bop jazz sound infused with soul, funk, hip-hop and gospel.

Black Violin inspires audiences around the world with electrifying performances that redefine what string music can be while reaching more than 100,000 students each year through the Black Violin Foundation.
