ABOUT THE SHOW
The award-winning singer-songwriter and entertainer Deejay Young (Hamilton, The Voice) returns to present a first-time, multi-dimensional performance of his newest album, ECLIPSE.
Hailing from Tampa, Florida, the singer-songwriter, actor and performer made his Broadway debut as Aaron Burr in the New York company of Hamilton in spring of 2024. His additional theatrical credits include Hairspray, RENT and Ain't Misbehavin'. He was also a featured contestant on Season 24 of The Voice on NBC.
His recent albums PRIMITIVE and The Primitive Sessions: Live both reached the Top 10 of the Top R&B Albums Charts on iTunes, and his holiday album An Unplugged Christmas was a top seller on Amazon Music. Deejay has received four Independent Music Awards and two Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARAs), as well a Tampa Bay Theatre Award & two Broadway World Awards for his regional theatre contributions. He was also recognized as BEST SOUL ACT in Orlando Weekly’s 2024 Readers’ Choice Poll.
