A Celebration of American Roots at Judson’s Live this Fall

Orlando, FL — This November and December, Judson’s Live at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts invites guests to experience the sounds of American roots music. Across five special performances, celebrated musicians will share their own interpretations of the sounds that define the nation’s musical heritage.

In keeping with Judson’s Live’s intimate space and world-class acoustics, each performance offers a chance to experience the sound up close.

On November 19, singer-songwriter Jordan Foley will take the stage with his plaintive, rugged rock, folk and Americana.

On November 29, GRAMMY®-nominees The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys will show off soaring harmonies and blazing instrumental interplay, proving that traditional bluegrass remains vital.

A staple of the Central Florida music scene, Beemo performs on December 2, bringing their signature blend of folk, rock and modern storytelling.

Multi-instrumentalists Jerron “Blind Boy” Paxton & Dennis Lichtman invite guests to immerse themselves in the early 20th Century era, where Blues, Ragtime, and Jazz first intertwined - offering a performance rich in history, humor and improvisation on December 9.

Closing this rootsy run on December 12 is blues virtuoso Damon Fowler, who brings his trademark slide guitar and soulful vocals to Judson’s Live for the first time. From Florida’s Gulf Coast, Fowler’s music channels the spirit of Southern rock and swamp blues, capturing the raw emotion at the heart of the American sound.
