An Evening with Acoustic Alchemy

For more than 35 years, Acoustic Alchemy has carved out a distinctive place in contemporary jazz, with a sound shaped by acoustic guitar melodies blended with world music influences. The Grammy-nominated group became a fan favorite of jazz audiences through songs like “Mr. Chow” and “Jamaica Heartbeat,” known for blending intricate musicianship with laid-back grooves.

Their latest release, The Empire of Lights, leans into reggae beats and western-inspired rhythms with the fluid guitar work that has defined the band for decades. Their new tracks range from the western shuffle of “8,000 Miles” to the reggae flavors of “Alisio” and upbeat joy of “Back to Back.”
