California Guitar Trio

About the show

For 35 years, California Guitar Trio (CGT) has mixed rock, jazz, classical and global influences with laid-back surf music and a spaghetti Western twist.

Formed in 1991, CGT came out of guitarist Robert Fripp’s musical circle and built a reputation for tight interplay and adventurous arrangements. Over the years, the trio has expanded its sound with deeper bass and fuller layers while keeping its signature style intact.

From The Beach Boys to The Beatles, Pink Floyd to “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly,” this guitar trio takes iconic songs and spins them in bold new directions.
