Three World-Class Orchestras Headline Dr. Phillips Center's 25/26 Great Orchestra Series
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, The Philadelphia Orchestra & Vienna Philharmonic headline 25/26 Great Orchestra Series
Orlando, FL — Get ready for a special experience as the legendary Vienna Philharmonic makes its Orlando debut, part of Dr. Phillips Center 25/26 Great Orchestra Series, supported by Experience Kissimmee. Together with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and The Philadelphia Orchestra, this powerhouse lineup sets the stage for the art center’s most prestigious classical season yet.
These world class orchestras will perform in Steinmetz Hall – one of the most acoustically perfect venues in the world and among the most innovative and technologically advanced concert halls. In 2023, Architectural Digest named it one of “The 11 Most Beautiful Theaters in the World.”
Following three sold-out seasons, this fourth installment brings a lineup of rare and remarkable performances to Orlando. Witness a special celebration of renowned English composer and conductor Sir John Rutter who will celebrate his 80th birthday, featuring the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Bach Festival Choir performing his iconic vocal work Magnificat.
Internationally acclaimed conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin will make his long-awaited Florida debut, leading The Philadelphia Orchestra as they celebrate 125 years of musical excellence.
The Vienna Philharmonic, considered one of the finest in the world, will also make its Orlando premiere with two completely distinct programs over two nights—one featuring Strauss and Sibelius, the other highlighting works by Dvořák and Mozart.
