YOUTH & PRE-PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTIONS

Whether just dipping your toe into the world of theatre or taking a next-level leap toward your Broadway dream, Dr. Phillips Center is honored to open our stages to the next generation of performers.  

Our Youth Productions provide performers ages 10–18 with the opportunity to develop their acting, singing, and dancing skills while rehearsing and performing in a full-scale musical. Students work alongside experienced teaching artists throughout the rehearsal process before taking the stage in professionally produced performances complete with lighting, sound, scenery, and costumes.

For high school students ready to take their training to the next level, the Florida Musical Theatre Intensive (FMTI) offers a pre-professional, conservatory-style experience. Participants receive advanced instruction from industry professionals while rehearsing and performing a full-scale musical, preparing them for collegiate musical theatre programs and future careers in the performing arts.
