The Expanding Man is a dynamic concert experience celebrating the music of Steely Dan while pushing it in exciting new directions. Fronted by Steve Memmolo, finalist on NBC’s The Voice, the band features acclaimed guitarist Jon Zeeman, whose credits include Susan Tedeschi, Janis Ian and members of The Allman Brothers Band, and the wildly entertaining pianist and award-winning composer Peter Primamore.

From classics like “Peg,” “Josie,” “Reelin’ in the Years” and “Kid Charlemagne” to original music inspired by the wit, sophistication and jazz-infused harmonies of Becker and Fagen, The Expanding Man blends faithful performances with inventive musical exploration. Equal parts world-class musicianship and engaging live entertainment, the band brings humor, personality and spontaneous interaction to the stage, creating a show that feels vibrant, fresh and alive rather than simply a recreation of the records.
