A 54-Year Tradition — A Gift to the Community
For over five decades, the Messiah Choral Society of Central Florida has presented a moving, fully orchestrated performance of Handel’s Messiah—completely free to the public. This beloved concert features professional soloists, a full orchestra and a powerful volunteer chorus under the direction of acclaimed conductor Dr. John V. Sinclair.
From the first notes to the triumphant “Hallelujah Chorus” this performance is our gift to the community—a way to unite, uplift and inspire as the holiday season begins. It is a tradition built on excellence, inclusion and shared experience.
While we receive some government support, we do not sell tickets, and the heart of this tradition depends on the generosity of people like you. Your donation keeps this music alive. Every contribution helps cover the cost of musicians, the venue, and production—ensuring Messiah remains free and accessible for all.

About Messiah Choral Society
The Choir proudly welcomes singers from all walks of life—whether you're a high school student discovering your voice, a retiree rekindling a lifelong love of music or anywhere in between. Our members range from casual enthusiasts to seasoned professionals, united by a shared passion for choral music. With no audition required, we embrace a spirit of openness and community, averaging around 120 voices each season.
