ABOUT THE SHOW
Resonate Festival returns in the Fall of 2026 with a weeklong celebration featuring the music of Beethoven! Hear Beethoven’s works in a series of concerts curated by Music Director Eric Jacobsen specifically for Orlando audiences in a fun and invigorating new way!
Thursday evening, join Jacobsen and musicians from your Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra in Steinmetz Hall at Dr. Phillips Center as they are joined by the University of Central Florida University Choir to perform “Hope on the Hill” by Mike Block, featuring him on cello. This performance will include a performance of Beethoven’s stirring Symphony No. 5, which is widely considered one of the greatest pieces in the classical music canon.
This concert will include table seating on the main floor (access to both 7 p.m. & 8:30 p.m. concerts), as well as seated chairs in the rear of the main floor (access to 7 p.m. concert only).

The 8:30 p.m. concert is designed to be an intimate space, open to those who purchase the table seating. This late-night concert will showcase Music Director Eric Jacobsen, Clarinetist John Bruce Yeh, Assistant Principal at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and Cellist Mike Block on a concert of all Beethoven Chamber works.
These concerts will be performed without intermission.
