About the show 

Grammy-nominated jazz-fusion group Special EFX celebrates more than 40 years of music with The Hits, the band’s first full album in three years. 

Led by guitarist and composer Chieli Minucci, Special EFX pushes contemporary jazz into harder-driving territory, fueled by Chieli’s fluid guitar work and deep funk grooves. Recent chart-toppers include their Billboard No. 1 hit “Cool Summer” and Top 10 single “Meant to Be.”

Chieli has shared stages and studios with icons including Celine Dion, Lionel Richie, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. He’s also a three-time Emmy-winning film and TV composer, with music featured in No Country for Old Men, Legally Blonde and more.
